Did anyone make it to the show in St.Louis today? Did it close early?I've been looking forward to going for quite some time, but I used my better judgement and did not make the 3 hour drive to get there after I heard the weather forcast last night. What a disappointment. Oh well. Maybe it will be better in March when there is a show in Bethalto, Ill.

It's too bad you didn't go yesterday. It was a great show. I saw lots of nice factory knives and some really great customs. I am regretting not picking up an Elishewitz Pharoah but I least I traded for a Mel/Joe Pardue Flipper and I picked up a few other items. Next year, come on the first day.:)

Well, I made it to the show today, but only because all my stuff was sitting on my table. Otherwise, I would have slept in. Coming home, the roads were so bad it shook me up. I'm still a nervous wreck, and I usually don't panic in winter weather. Probably going to stay home from work tomorrow too. ;)

There might have been a half dozen customers at the show today too.

I went on Sunday, (yesterday) and regret not going on Saturday instead. I slept way later than planned, and did not get to the show until just after 1:00 pm, also partially due to the terrible roads. Seems half the guys had already packed up their tables and left, and the other half were in the process! Danbo- were you still there at that time? What did you have on your table? I ended up going right to the west room, and talked with Danny Ehrenberger and Gary Z. for the better part of 2 or 3 hours! Gary had some awesome folders on his table, and I think I fondled about every one of 'em. They were kinda excited when I showed off my Moran hunter and one of my mini Bowies. When I first got there, I regretted coming, but getting to shoot the breeze with those gentlemen made it all worth while.

I went on Saturday and I'm glad I did! I was thinking about the poor guys who had tables there and the folks who had planned on going Sunday.

My only complaint about knife shows is there are so many cool knives I want that I get frustrated. I almost want to throw my hands up and forget the whole thing and not buy anything.

I picked up one of Jeff Cover's little neck knives. I'd been wanting one of those since I saw them last year. Used it a bunch already. It's got a real handy integral clip on the sheath so you can clip it to a pocket, your t-shirt collar or a neck chain/cord.
