I was wondering if anyone would check out our site if they have a free minute. www.mountainhollow.net I just did some modifications and want to know if I deleted or screwed anything up. It looks good on my machine but, the original site designer said it will anyway because I have all the info in my computer. Man, I'm no good at this.
.
Thanks all.

http://www.mountainhollow.net/aboutmountainhollow.htm Five links on bottom here, they point to location of pictures actually on your computer, rather than online. I assume they're same ones used on front page, so the pictures are on the website, just need to edit the code pointing to the picture.

Same thing on "Shows" and "contact us" pages.

Besides that, looks good, and some great knives up there. Never looked at your part of the page, only looked at Tess' leatherwork. ;)

It's a dandy web site. I like the way you layed it out without clutter and after seeing a couple of your knives there (the two tusks) I feel taken to school. You are a knife maker, aren't you! !

Do you have JPEG OPTIMIZER?? That will speed your jpeg downloads some. I have used it for all my pic's and it helps some. If not, I can send you a link to it. It cost nothing. On the other hand, it may just be my computer is running too slow tonight.

J-once you upload your pages and are looking at it on the web via your browser the fact that you have the original on your hard drive shouldn't matter. Just make sure though you have cleared your browsers cache. In Internet Explorer just click on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files. You might also clear your history. If you make a change and the page keeps appearing the same after uploading hold down the control key and click refresh.

Other wise except for the minor link problems mentioned earlier it looks good.

I checked the size on a few of your images and they were all well within size parameters for speedy loading. I'm on dialup and they loaded just fine.
Roger your computer must have been tired. :D

Yep, lookin good J! I didn't catch any glitches. And I hadn't spotted it before but I like that elk book knife! Elegant. Thanks for the headsup, have a good one.

Hey J.

Everything seems to be working just fine from out here in Utah. Nice website. i like the elk boot knife too.

J. You're a man of many talents!

Looks nice and I'm glad you have more pics up.

BTW your home page loads slow (for us dial-up types). You might want to adjust the resolution on that cool pic with all the sparks. It's about 200K should only need about 75K for that size on the web.

I never saw those little hunters before - love the design. Funny I was just making something like that.

Steve

Thanks guys, for the check and the compliments.

Joel, I'm probably tired myself but, I'm not sure what you meant about the links on the bottom of the page.

Steve, I'll change those pix soon. I just got my hammer and I'll put a forging picture up instead. I'll adjust it to fit better.

Thanks again.

Looks good to me I like the page of thumb nail images. I like a site that I can get thumb nails I am on pre paid hour cards and spending time down loading large images makes me impatient and I go else where.
Your site arangement suits the way I use the net.
Thanks for sharing.
