There is an update to the web specials page at Buck.
http://www.buckknives.com/web-specials/
A few new items. I picked up two cow bone 110's and the scissors I wanted.

The 112 is very close to my son's 2004 112. The serrated Vanguard looks nice as well as that dagger. I see some new backpacks as well.

That dagger really is nice. I wonder what steel they used. The site does not say.

I picked up the cow bone 110 too. Liked the old school bolsters.
When did they start charging sales tax to the keystone state?

I couldn't resist the cherry wood offerings. Wish I had seen that orange gut hook knife in time to add it to the order.

Thanks. Cherry wood & brass are easy to get.

They made them for Bass Pro. To my eye the brass and cherry wood clash.

My son has a cherry/nickel combo and wanted another but I talked him into the cow bone. When are you going to see that combo again. Square bolster, 50th blade and bone... Looks like they gathered some leftover parts and made an interesting knife. It's not the best looking I've seen but unique never-the-less.

I got an e-mail with some new web specials. They have a 70's era 110 replica. It looks like a really nice knife. However, I can't help but think if I wanted a 70's style 110, I would just get an actual 70's 110. They're a dime a dozen. It sure is a nice looking knife, though, with that red paperstone handle. It's also a nice touch they did the blade in 440c.

I was looking at the listing and it says it's a drop point blade, but obviously it's not. Was a little excited there for a second though. 440c + drop point + thinner frame + paperstone scales.... I knew it was to good to be true...

I went for the 110 440c buildout. I'm hoping it's a clip not a drop point. Interested to see how it compares to the federal/magnolia

We got the email too. That 110 was just added and is a sweet looking knife. No monies :(
I'm guessing the drop point is a misprint as there were none in the 70"s.

I just chatted with Buck. They say it has a clip point blade and they're working on fixing the error.

Amici,
I too also received the email from Buck, but alas, no matter where I navigate on their site, I still cannot find any link to their "1970's era replica", since I too am very interested..

Can someone please post a direct link?

Cheers,
Serge

Amici,
The link is a no go unfortunately at the moment.. Any scuttle butt on when it will be fixed?

Cheers,
Serge

sergmaster , if the link does not work for you try a different browser.I had this same problem with Bucks custom shop link,it would not work on my computer from Google and still doesn't.
But when I use the big e it works fine. Worth a try.If that doesn't work contact them through the chat line or phone them I'm sure they will help you out.

Amici,
Works perfectly, thanks again for all those who responded.. The next 110 that will be joining my Buck stable..

Cheers,
