Our 4 year old website is about to be replaced. We've finished the hard part- the e-commerce, dynamic pages etc. and I'm in the process of filling up the database. I think this new design will make it easier for our customers to find products, browse product lines, make selections and check out. I would really appreciate your comments because I want to incorporate whatever we can before we go live right after Christmas. The look of the site isn't finished and neither are the static pages so ignore the menu items on the left. Feel free to play with the e-commerce just don't send your credit card number by mistake because the site isn't on the secure server yet. The URL is http://www.knifetest.media3.net and thanks in advance for any feedback.

Looks GREAT!
although I HATE those pop up things.....but that is just me....
Hi Fred!! :)

Looks pretty good - is this using the NetOpus software or something custom?

So far I like it very much. The thing that I like the most is that it can be navigated very quickly. I hate slow sites.

Nice job! Easy to read, easy to navigate. Clean. It deserves an "A". And - bonus marks for soliciting suggestions BEFORE it gets "put to bed". (I wish I had a dollar for every print ad that I have been shown..."just to get your professional opinion"...AFTER it had been produced. My answer was always the same: "It looks great! What am I supposed to say? It's too late to change anything, isn't it?")

Just my .02 worth.

Thanks for the comments. Tom, what is a pop up thing? I'm not sure what it is that bothers you. Spark, this site is our doing. It is based on MS Access and built with Macromedia Ultra Dev 4. The quick navigation is thanks to the little thumbnails we use which are only about 2K each. The larger images only load when someone wants to see them. It seems to run pretty quickly even on a 24K modem connection - I know because we have one of those here in addition to the satellite link. Thanks again for the comments.

I think Tom is referring to the "mouse-overs" that appear when the cursor passes over the menu headings to the left.
