Website for pics ?

Need help here guys. My subscription to webshots almost ends. I'd like to change to a new website. My criteria (in the order of importance) :

1. I must be able to post unlimited number of pics (the more the better)

2. Easy to manage

3. If possible, free

Anyone can give me some suggestions ?
 
I can't think of anything. If you want a free site with unlimited space, you'll have to setup your own! If you get web space through your ISP(I get 10MB thru Earthlink) you can put some there although if you have many pics it would displace your regular web site if you have one.
Free web sites usually won't let you link pictures(I had that problem with Tripod when I first tried putting a pic on this BBS), but if you are setting them up as part of a web site it could work, but you don't get much space unless you pay and the ads are annoying.
There are plenty of pic hosting places, but they charge.
OK, this isn't free... But if you want to do it the nerd way, go get yourself an Apple Xserve and a good fast data connection or a cheap co-locator with a fiber line. Setup Apache and off you go!

I should say in advance, that what you are asking is basically impossible. NO scratch that, it is. There is nothing that is unlimited. Nothing in life is free, especially disk space and bandwidth. When you do see companies claiming unlimited this and that, you should go ahead and sign up with them. Then when you see what happens in 3 months, come back here.

Edit: I see that you are referring to just a photo gallery host. The previous poster is correct about you having to set it up yourself.

I provide www.wisgallery.com so people can host for *FREE*. You are limited to 5 megabytes though. Feel free to use it.

If the BladeForums community wants, I will open it up to include knives, blades, and tactical gear as well.

I guess there will have to be enough demand. Right now it's JUST watches.

This is a hosting site, and also has a great discussion forum. You get 25 megs of space (not unlimited like you want, but better than a sharp stick in the eye).

They allow posting your pics on other sites and all that good stuff. All they ask (not require) is that you participate in the discussion forum, and from time to time consider buying from a sponsor.

I have been a member for a few months and it is a very well run place.

500 meg of free space for 3 years.

Not easy to manage, you need to ftp your files up and manage them but if all you want to do is link to pictures its a great way to go.
