Curious about this, the 1st few seconds Mike had his left leg in line with the hewing direction, isn't that too dangerous?

I've wondered about these axes.
I'd love to own one of everything it seems. But we don't have enough trees down here for me to use what I already have regularly.

Yeah, it might just be the camera angle. But for a few of those strikes I worried about his foot/ankle. Could be a perspective thing. The man seems to know what he is doing.
