Too often a good company rolls out a new web site, and the front line employees don't ever actually go and try to use it. Seems to be the case with BM's new website. The custom knife page does not work, or does not work if you want just a plan edge without all the text and graphics. The worst part is they have removed or hidden the "knife Wizard' where you really could search for a assisted frame lock or what ever else your into.

The overall design is nice and easy to use but please put back the Wizard!

It must be having a glitch. I used the custom build program about a week ago and it worked fine.
They were supposed to reincorporate the knife wizard into the new website, but I don't know if they will or not. I hope they do because it was a great reference tool

I dislike the new website.. I thought the old one was more user friendly and incorporated more product information.. Now I have to look at retail websites for old, discontinued listings and information about previous Gold Class knives..

Agreed!

I talked to BM customer service this morning on a different matter and asked about the discontinued models and catalogs page (again) and they said they've gotten a lot of complaints about it no longer being available and were working on bringing it back. As to when exactly, who knows...

The new website is a heck of a lot better than the older one. The previous version took a really long time to load, and switching from one page to another took enough time to almost brew a pot of coffee.
