Hello all. I understand handguns, but I have to confess that I'm a complete idgit when it comes to rifles and shotguns. I'm not really in the market, but this is a huge knowledge gap that I'd like to fix. Like a lot of people, I've tried to piece together some odds and ends from forums, but since it isn't presented "line upon line" I know that I'm missing loads (ha ha). Can you suggest some educational sites? thanks!

Honestly, I read firearm reviews online, but I avoid the forums. You think you see arguments here? Pfft! I used to like Glock Talk, but I dunno how active it is (it had knives and long guns as well).
Some may advise AR-15.com or some such site...I haven't spent time there but I know its popular.
