Tomorrow AM I have my six month check up and tests at the VA hospital. I'm hoping only the morning will be lost but at the VA what normally what takes an hour or two anyplace else can often take the entire day. One thing for sure, I won't stay for more than the day!!!

Thanks all for well wishes. I'm back from round 1-- leave in 30 minutes for round 2. It helps to be only a 15 minute drive away from the VA hospital. Stay tuned. They couldn't kill me in round one and I don't think they'll be able to in round two, either.
 
I go in next monday and me and the doc are gonna have a real heart to heart.
I may leave without a primary care physician, but dayum it I'm tired of trying one dayumed pill after another. I remember when you went to a general practioner and got fixed up the first time.
Problem is an new doc would probably be the same way and just start over with what's already been tried. But he wouldn't be the first doc I've fired!!!!:)
I'm just thankful I don't have to deal with the VA!!!! That has to suck Big Time!!!!!!!

I surprised them all. They all think (and secretly hope) that I'll die and go away but all my tests indicated they would be stuck with me for awhile.
 
..than the look of disappointment on the face of a medico who only gave you five years, eleven years ago. I'm hoping to put mine in deep clinical depression. If we are lucky, we may attend the bastid's funerals......laughing and cutting up in our usual respectful way, of course:rolleyes:
 
I underwent pulmonary tests today among others. They set me up for this test because I'm a smoker and won't quit and they wanted to demonstrate what smoking was doing to me. And guess what? I tested high normal -- better than a lot of non smokers my age.

Where in the hell is that belly dancer?????????????
