Hi all,

My fiance and I are looking for someone to make us some simple USA made wedding bands in about 4 weeks time.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

Many thanks,
Tim Johnson

Silver or gold? What metals do you want, what designs etc? I know a couple of solid jewellers, and even a few Navajo jewellers :)

gold , design: as simple as it gets

You can't find a simple gold band at a jewelers? Not sure if you have something similar but I bought my wife's engagement ring at an arts and crafts/artists market we have on Saturdays here in Portland.

Yeah, I would agree. If it's just a simple gold band no real special designs spend less get it from a chain -

Or from a pawn shop. That's where my last ones came from and where they went back to.

Just keep in mind that as a wedding band gets older, it get tighter. ;)

Plain rings can be found almost anywhere, even Walmart. If you know your sizes, you can even get them on eBay.

Huh, that happened to you too. Proof that Gold does shrink.

It got really tight from the early 80's to the early 2000's. Maybe the age of the gold has something to do with it. :D

Well we have been checking out some Mokume rings that Delbert Ealy makes. Pretty cool. I realize you can get cheap simple rings from retailers but Im the type that likes to purchase direct from an artist. I want some heart and soul in these bands. I have a hard time purchasing jewelry when the sales person cant tell me a thing about it.

Thanks for the responses all,

-tim
