This is a long-overdue wedding present for shipmates (science communicator/educator types) who met on the ol' deep sea research ship. Stainless was requested, so the blade is stock-removal AEB-L. Handle is GLHansen&sons SeaStrata GCarta. Bolster is a piece of the brass cage that held the roller bearings from the old rudder bearing assembly that we replaced in 2013 (knife is not THAT overdue). 7.5" to the bolster.
