What ever happened to this knife?

Thought I'd post some Satin variations of the SHBM for you since we're on the subject

I forget who ended up with it, Drew maybe?

If I am not mistaken, Walkingman had it a year ago and I seriously doubt he let it go.

but it is still not one of the original 300 run. It came later like many others. a beaut non-the-less:thumbup:

Mine. All mine. Any offers will be flatly turned down! :D ;)
I snagged it up with the lighting fast speed of my fingertips and never looked back.
It's on my top shelf, because that's exactly what it is. A top shelf Busse!

Was it a custom piece? I assume.

It was a knife made by a Gal that worked for Jerry to her soon to be husband.
They used it at the Wedding to cut the cake.

The wedding didn't last, but the knife is still going strong.
It does have the 1 of 300 clip point on it, factory wood handles with solid Brass pins and Satin finish.
At one time it had sweet nothings on the blade, the guy I got it from tried to remove them and it left a dark spot, I sent it to Jerry and he "fixed" it up.
While it was there it saved Jerrys life,but....that is another story.

It's hard to say that you actually own a knife like that, because you can't really own history.
I consider myself more of a custodian than it's owner.
One day, I will another lucky HOG own it, one true of heart, the kind of man that could pull excaliber out of a stone, but that day is far off. :D
BTW..... I don't know the whole story, and I don't if it actually saved Jerry's life, but it involved two mean canines, from what I hear.

Well, a canine would have to be stupid to tangle with Jerry Holding that knife in one hand and a bottle of scotch in the other.

This will give you guys something to talk about at Blade...
Let me know what you think after talking to him ;)
