Wedge II Sheath

Picked up a Wedge II last week. Very nice knife and sheath system. Kudos to your design folks.

I'm just getting used to the dangling of the sheath, carrying it hanging from the tip. I also plan to use this as my whitewater knife and want to attach it to a life jacket. I'm a little concerned about the knife flopping about, and my ability to do a blind draw while the knife is swirling about. I'd much rather have it straped solidly to the knife patch on my life jacket.

Any suggestions for modifying this?

Thanks much.

I can't exactly visualize the location you plan to use, but a small piece of velcro, available anywhere, one side glued to sheath and one side sewn to the jacket should cure the flopping.

Oooh, I like the Velcro idea. That may work pretty well. Thanks Much.

FYI - On many whitewater vests there is a plastic patch made to slide the clip of a knife/sheath. The knife generally rides left hand side chest level. This allows access to the knife if you are in a kayak with a spray skirt.
