I was thinking Maple as well. Yes, my first Siru. I have the Gelbu Specials and Kumar Kobras. I didn't feel a need until I saw Pala's craftsmanship.

Pala should offer a Khukri detailing business. He'd be a very rich man quickly. He can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and could likely find employment at Holland and Holland as a stock maker.

Well ok then! Maple it prolly is. All I know is its purdy as heck. Looks like the same wood that my little pala knife was made of which is really purdy as well. I just saw the Nabin Rai handle he made and man he is talented! Wonder if he can make a blade? Maybe he's sandbaggin some skills from us.
