Just gotta love a bendy blade especially when its not a Khuk... the recurve on this model is similar to that of Giant Chitlangi Bowie. :thumbup:

Please bring out a full polish version ???

I sharked the first one offered, and it is sweeeeeeeeeet! Not as heavy as a khuk, but great wear all day camp knife.

I have to agree it is a fine looking blade with great proportions and I especially will be interested in your impressions of the grip shape and size in regular usage?

I did not take the time to read the thread, just in too much of a hurry to find it when my failing memory recalled that the Mountain Bowie had debuted earlier this year.

IMO This style knife looks much better with the flats left as forged. Reminds me of a Tinker made knife or something you'd see at a Mountain Man gathering. If I had the funds I would order one just like that. :)

After having said that, I could also see the beauty in a Satin or Highly polished version. Maybe you could order one?
