Like the Villager.but, the Cross Guard on the "True Villager" Just completes the Blade for me................

I still love the hell outt my HI Bolo.

Nice! Soon I will have a matched pair of Chitlangis. Same length, same Kami, one in horn and one in wood.

+ Awesome snag!

Once again, the DOTDs evoke unfunded longings. :(

Soon, though- not soon enough, but soon- I'll be better equipped to circle these waters. ;)

14.5" BDC is the smallest kukuri that feels like a "real" kuk to me. I'd love a 14.5 or 16". Great knives. :)

John

anyone have an opinon on the BDCs? Best length?

I have an 18" BDC by Bura.... so balanced that it somehow "feels" smaller than 18". I mean its one heckuva substantial blade, but its lively & comfortable for its size. And its a beaut to boot...

Email sent for the CAK... I truly hope nobody else has sent one yet. Waiting for something you're not sure of sure is unnerving...

Yessssss, it's mine! Shipping tomorrow, she says. I can't wait to have it arrive and hold it in my hands. 25in Kobra to teeny tiny 11.5in CAK. Good stuff.

This is just one beautiful khukuri, period! As well as being the near perfect weight for most anybody...
And if I weren't on a fixed income it would be mine and the Gods know I need another khukuri like I need another left foot.  :D

Well, that makes 3 of US then Yvsa.... both Sandy and I are in the same "boat" as You...
Only time the income changes is at the start of the year.... "Cost of living " change...
and living this side of the Mississippi sure costs More than living in Eastern Oregon

Yet the Disability income = the same here as Waaaaay Out West.....

Don't get me wrong. we are VERY Greatful for SSD.... without it = Nothing
Ed

PS: Like I tell my Stepsons ( 9 and 10 years old) the SSD income we receive now is the result of all the SSD Taxes on Sandy's and My Income Before the Disabilities.. I am Sure there are many many Many people in the world who wish their Country had a SSD program. Sandy and I are Very Thankful it exists

Make that four in the same boat.

I am very thankful to live in a country with disability support benefits too.

The only reason I haven't snagged it, is I just got 2 from the 4/7 DOTD. I buy another this soon, and the wife will show it to me--in macro view.

Had I received word from Ms Yangdu that someone had beat me to that chitlangi, I would have sent an email on it as my second choice.

BUT I just couldn't let another 21" Chitlangi by Sher pass me by. All the kamis are very skilled craftsmen but Master Bura and Sher are my favorites.

Oh chitlangis how I love you so:cool:
