Already has tasted blood...hummmmmmmmm! Hope you are ok! :-)

That olive wood is really appealing to me.
It evokes the "wild west" more than the other handle materials I've seen for this knife.

:)I agree with Steve Tall, the olive does look right, and the cherokee Rose is a proper Bowie knife from a fighting standpoint, length, weight, all of it make it a True fighting Bowie. If I didn't make my own knives, I would own an Rose.;)

i already have one of each but i still want to buy these - i is that what you guys call HIKV ? :D

I agree - i am not educated on the subject nor am i an authority on it but the Cherokee Rose that I own is a really fine piece of steel. It is light and strong and sharp and i imagine if i was in battle it would be a fine thing to have as a back up - and if i was in a knife fight i imagine it would be a great choice.

Hmm, I tried resisting, but they just keep pulling me back in! Can't believe the CR hasn't been sold yet, so I just sent an email...

Probably only the 3rd "blood-blessed" knife after Bura's Samsher and Sarge's khuk.

Joking aside,How is the finger Auntie?

The olive wood's sweet!

I have one of the AK Bowies like that (Khadka) and boy do I love it, heavy, heavy, heavy but worth the weight around camp its a "everything" knife equal parts axe, hammer, cleaver and chisel.
