H,

How did you find a collection sale to shop at???? I think we could all learn from you on this topic!!!!!

WOW, nice finds!! Are those NRA Stag 110's with the script tang stamps?

Yes please, if you would be so kind, describe all your finds for us piece by piece if that isn't too much trouble.

And jb4570 had a great question that I would also like to hear much about as well.

Thanks,
Anthony

Scott, They are both NRA knives. They both have the same etch on the blade, but only one has the script tang stamp. The other has
BUCK?110X/U.S.A. One is 65/200 and the other is 125/200.

The dagger is a 100 year anniversary knife. Stag handle. Cutom Shop
Two NRA 110's. Both stag handles
Pre 1986 stag handle 500.
110 stag handle blade stamp 1988.
1973 Buck 112 Segua handles. 3rd version.
Buck 120 pre 1986 reverse stamp.
Buck 112 Ducks Unlimited. Gold etch. 1987 (They used 1986 blade)
Buck 119 custom

I bought a collection from an individual and these plus others were in the group. I buy quite a few knives and keep the ones that I want for my collection. I only collect BUCK. I have sold the others on Ebay for the last 7 or 8 years.

hkingdom, Thanks! Those are fine additions to anyones collection:thumbup: , You must be able to smell out a Buck knife from 10 miles away

Hi H,

Just had to come back for another look at your new Bucks. Now I have to wipe the slobber off of the key board. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I've been very lucky, but have also looked in many pawn shops, walked miles of gun and knive shows and flea markets. The good ones at a decent price usually don't just show up. I've also been very lucky to belong to the BCC and have the help from many good friends.

Dave, I will get some time here in the near future and put some knives on the for sale/trade section. I don't keep duplicates, nor do I keep all the BUCK KNIVES that I find. I tried to have one of everything for a while and found that there were more BUCK KNIVES than I had dollars!

Hi Jerry;
Are the two NRA knives the ones with the Father and Son Hunting? They don't look like the "Presentation" knife. Please let me know. Thanks.

Dick, They are the ones with the Father and Son hunting. What's the difference in these versus the Presentation knife?

Jerry

The "Father and Son, The Presentation" Shows a father presenting his son with his first gun. It also has the NRA emblem but it only has a Fibron handle. There is another NRA #110 I have been looking for which was done by the Friends of the NRA in stag with a gold etch blade. So far I can't even document it because I haven't seen one. FYI. Take care.
