We had approximately 20-25 people attended w/ some very respected Makers included.

There were knives from various makers on display and available for purchase.

They have a Club knife made every year. The makers range from Hen & Rooster, Boker, Custom makers...this year the honor fell to Case..

Cool thread! Thanks for sharing. Looks like you guys keep a nice, clean, well organized and safe shop. Definitely would not want to host a gathering in my garage!

It was a special weekend for me not only because it was at my shop, but because a lot of my knifemaking heroes were there with me. The gang from the Flint River Knife club are great. Many of them are also in the GA Custom Knifemakers Guild. Some of them have been here before but its still special for me. This weekend we had a guest, Calvin Robinson, and I was very excited about that. Mr Robinson makes beautiful knives. I noticed his work around the time I attended my first Knifemakers Guild show in Louisville and have made sure to see his work at shows since then. I was very proud last September for Calvin to be among the judges that inspected my knives when I was going for my voting member status. So I was very excited to have him in my shop. It was a fun day of knives and knife lovers. A knifemaker never stops trying to learn more about the craft. Georgians are lucky in this.

Sounds like everyone was well taken care of, and cubby was well fed.
Thanks for sharing.
