Couple questions if you don't mind! Not very familiar (yet!) with HI knives. What I do know is it is a good looking blade here!

Is this full tang?
Any idea what type of use its seen (i.e. chopping, batoning, carving, vegetation)?
Not sure what "villager fit and fit" means - can you explain?

Thank you much and good luck!

Yes it is full tang. Used for what you see in picture.
Villager are unpolished. More like what you would see villagers use in Nepal.
This is used for everything from wood chopping to cabin building.
This is our toughest Khukuri.

Yes it’s full-tang and this model specifically is warrantied for life even if you use it as a prybar.

Ang Kholas (including the full-tang models referred to as Chiruwas) range from 3/8” to 1/2” thick at the spine. I have owned a couple and neither have had any sort of distal taper either. They’re thick choppers meant for abuse. Their edge grind is fittingly obtuse and thick. Think of Ang Kholas as knife-shaped hatchets and that should paint a picture for you.

They excel at chopping thick, hard woods like oak or hickory. I used mine to chop down an oak sapling around 2” diameter and it did great. I would not use one to clear any wood thinner than 1”, at that point use a thinner kukri or thicker machete.

Many say an Ang Khola model, full-tang or otherwise, is probably the one kukri to get from HI simply because it’s so invulnerable and heavy-duty. I personally abide by the principle that you get whatever kukri calls to you. If this one seems up your alley, follow your heart.

Another really great and useful model is the 16" WWII. It's somewhat embarrassing, the number that I have bought over the years. Still love them.

A WWII was the very first model I bought. Agreed regarding the embarassment. I regret selling that one, but it went to someone who really treasured it. I aim to replace it someday, it was probably the most versatile kukri I owned.

This is a straight-up flat-out never fail TRUCK KNIFE. ..

Good for what ails you, make you feel good all over when you are stuck in the ditch, lost in the woods, camping out....

Come get it!

At that price .. can't afford not to!

I have one that length and same weight as for the A.K. above. A fantastic chopper!

The above one for sale is a fantastic deal.

I finally waited long enough and EMS 'd this one.

As a solid working tool it far exceeded expectations.

It needs a few tweaks...just because things bug me ....but in a very short time ...way less than a weekend....

It'll pass muster. Perfect truck knife

Diamond in the rough

I'm way tempted to grind a new long thin cross section.....no secondary bevel....

Then etch the blade in ferric....

The hand rub a soft matte surface to bring out the structure ...

There's really no need for it ...but if a guy gonna play ...lol

Thank you Auntie!
