My Loss-Your Gain

I am sad to announce that the Kancha Kami replica knives I got in a
last shipment have developed a crack in their horn handles. I guess they
didn't like waiting in the very dry Reno weather for a nice home like yours.
I have reduced the price considerably and will sell them as blemished.
This will still be a great buy for my collectors and anyone just beginning to collect HI Knives. My loss is definitely your gain. Take advantage of it while you can.

Thank you all for giving a nice home for KK Knives.

Will the cracks in the handles propagate and cause a failure of the handle?

If so, what can be done to prevent this from happening or fix the crack altogether?

I like the prices on the DOTD cracked handle blades, but I don't want to get something that doesn't meet up with my needs. Thanks in advance.

I honestly doubt that the crack will develop any further. However, John is right. A little super glue and/or epoxy mixed with some charcoal dust would have it good as new. I have several khuks with cracked handles. None of them have ever failed with extended heavy use:thumbup:
