I'd like to purchase this! Sent you an email..

Quickest sharking ever? 10:14 to 10:14

Congrats. I have the same Santosh villager BC at 16" and, judging by mine, you won't be disappointed. Spent hours last night fondling it while watching "The hurt locker." Is that weird? ;)

Great Snap Slingadeski!:D

Enjoy!

Oh and...we want a review:D

I see Auntie and family is having some serious fun! :-)
Terisa fishing! - my kind a girl ;-)
Took me a while to get mine doing that :-0

Very nice sharking & blade! We may have a new fastest shark wonder if Spark would put a second hand on the post clock:p
Now to the important question for Yangdu or Terisa. Did anybody catch anything?
Slingadeski that should fit your needs real nice at 15" & 22oz it should be a very nimble blade.

You're not weird. :D Not by my standards, anyways.

This will be my first kukri! I was going to get a more defensive blade first, and the work blade second, but this works well too. :)

Haha I caught a fish finnaly after wating for a while. It was a eastern brook trout. But we let it go. I was too scared to kill it. Aunt yangdu also dosent like any killing or suffering. While we were fishing she went and sat under a tree with my mom.

Karda, those we're my thoughts too. That knife should have about 8.5~10" of usable blade. I wouldn't want to build a log cabin with it but I also wouldn't want to get hit with it either. For everything else it should be perfect.
terishaS, respecting your aunt's beliefs you probably missed out on some good eating but not on a very good time. Personally, lifetime to date, of all the fish I have consumed (including lobster) I have caught more than I have bought. Fishing supplemented my diet in college;) Keep enjoying your family.

I totally understand Yangdu's reaction. I spent decades underwater as an oceanographer, SCUBA guide and marine archaeologist & learned a lot about fish. Many of them are much, MUCH smarter than we give them credit for. Fish like anchovy are pretty stupid - not too big of a deal to kill one of them. But I would not kill a fish like a grouper. They remind me of underwater dogs.... they are very smart & aware of everything around them. One of them became my friend & followed me around like a dog. He would lay in my arms to be petted... he looked for me every day. Many of us underestimate fish because we don't understand them. Most of us just have the opportunity to be with them in their own environment so we can't really be blamed for not understanding them. I do know this... most of us would think twice before we killed a dog. In my opinion, it really should be the same for many species of fish.

Dang - two DOTDs. I knew being out all night and sleeping in rather late would be bite me in the butt one way or another :o

Snazzy BC. Love having a kuk around while camping or during any sort of outing

Ugly Duck ever seen a Jew Fish (very large grouper not an antisemitic comment) the size of a small car? Saw one at a shark dive in Bimini the black tip reef sharks kept looking over their shoulders to make sure they weren't on the menu. One nut off Ft Lauderdale had green moray's trained to come and cuddle and get fed:eek: How he never became a Darwin candidate has to be the intelligence of the fish. I quit eating reef predators because they'd been over fished :grumpy:

hollowdweller, post reported:p If I never see another Muscovy Duck again in this life time it will be too soon. Yes there is a history there but out of respect for Yangdu's beliefs if you want to hear it lets take it to another venue.
