So I'm leaving in 2 hours for a weekend survival course, we'll be doing campcraft/fire skills. It'll be about -3 Celcius and a little snow, so good conditions for some nice outdoor stuff.
I'll bring my izula as a backup knife, I'll try out a new folding saw I bought last week and will bring either my rc-3 or rc-4. right now I'm thinking 4, but I'm still completing my pack.

Suggestions; you have about 2 hours :) then I'm off!

I'll get some pics and will post them here when I get back!

we're going out into the (small) woods near valkenburg in the netherlands.

Nice guys, loads of experience (military backgrounds). one of them is a bear grylls consultant (now don't go flaming, he's a consultant, which means they often don't listen to him :) )
I'm done packing, strapping up my izula, rc-3 and ontario rat 7, spyderco tenacious and leatherman charge tti, yeah, you always bring more knives than you need :D

Enjoy - I think on the blade side of things you are pretty much covered.;)

iphone post: doing some water/camp drills at subzero temp(celcius). in double sleeping bag at the moment underneath a tarp. light snow. rc-3 made sticks for tarp lines and shaved birchbark for firestarting. used msr whisperlite just before i tucked in to get some hot soup in before sleeping. decided to do live review for you guys :)
aloha from inside my sleeping bag!! doing fine
