Wegner field test results

In the last two days i have used my new large plain edge Wegner to field dress, skin & quarter two whitetail does.
The knife is still shaving sharp and its very easy to work with. Its a huge improvement over my old Smith & Wesson fixed blade hunting knife.

I got a friend of mine a Wegner. He is an avid hunter. He used the Wegner extensively last year and was nothing short of impressed.

The Wegner was my daily carry for quite awhile. It is exceptional for utilty and I believe makes for an above average defensive tool as well.

Now if I can just get that Wegner with VG-10, an eccentric pivot, and a slightly larger hole. Or a Spyderco fixed blade version.
