I saw the pics posted in this forum of Tim Wegner's fixed blade prototype and have been wanting to get a production version. But I can't find it for sale anywhere on the internet. What gives? Is it not in production yet? Seems like it should be by now. Please tell me what you know.
 
Selfinflicted, I would like to own this knife as well. The old Spyderco folding versions of the same knife are my all time favorite and most used hunters. I haven't heard anything about a production fixed blade, but Blade Tech used to offer a couple of custom versions. If I remember correctly, one was by Rob Siminovich, the other maker I cant recall. I do wish Spyderco or Blade Tech would offer it as a production item, but I'm not holding my breath.
 
Saw in KI that Spydie is coming out with the c74 Wegner with compression lock. It is suppose to come with green scales with cat pug marks on it.
