I bought a new Wegner Jr. from 1SKS while they were on sale. WOW, what a great little knife! I already owned a full size Wegner and it's a great knife as well. My full size served me very well last deer season. It was used for a general camp knife then when the time came it field dressed and skinned a very large buck for me effortlessly.
So of course I wanted a JR. for small game hunting. This has got to be one of the most comfortable small to mid size knives I've ever handled. It's of a very useful size, smooth and rounded, great blade shape and absolutely hair popping sharp. Rock solid in lockup and feel. It's hard to understand how this model didn't sell. It's a shame that it was dropped from production, it is without doubt one of the all time great users. IMHO.
