Hi all,
I recently bought a used full size Wegner. I really like the size and shape. It fits my large hands very well. The problem is that the lock reaches almost to the opposite side of the knife. My new Wegner Jr. doesn't go over near that far, and neither do some other liner locks that I have. At a recent knife show, I showed it to a couple of people who gave me differing opinions of the lock wear. One person said not to worry about it at all, and the other said just to use the knife lightly.
Now I don't see any way that the blade is going to slip past the lock, but being rather new to all this, I'm a little concerned. My question is, do you think that the knife is okay? If not, is it worth sending in for repair, or should I buy another?
I figure you people are the best ones to ask.
