The new Benchmade Griptilian sure looks like an Axis version of the Wegner. Take a look

Here is a pic for comparison. Note that the knives are not to scale, but you get the idea. I personally don't really see a resemblance. I don't feel one either when I hold the knives.

I don't see a resemblance myself.
On a different note, I just wish the Wegner was ambidextrous like the BM Griptilian. It sure is a nice touch.

I'm going to agree with RH, It looks more like a copy of the Pro Grip or Pro Venator rather than a copy of the Wegner.

I agree, however those knives represant the same style, execution and appereance and <font size="3" color="#ff0000">surely you must see the resemblance?!?</font>

People,if you're looking for a similarity then it's with the Terzuola C15
 
I don't see any great similarity of design other than they both have blades, black handles and holes (which are different shapes).

All folding knives will have a certain similarity to something.
