Wegner Problem?

Sal/Danelle & Forumites:

I just received my new Spydie Wegner (full size, plain edge). I love the knife. The liner, however, engages all the way to the far side of the tang after only opening the knife 5 times! This is not normal with any of my other linerlocks, Spyderco and other.

Can anyone advise?
