Can anyone tell me the weight difference in a 110 brass and regular slabs and a 110 Paperstone with regular slabs?
Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you mean by 110 paperstone with regular slabs?

If you mean a standard brass frame 110 with paperstone in lieu of wood, I expect it to be negligible in the tenths of an ounce difference.

If you mean a standard brass frame with wood compared to a paperstone EcoLite 110, I think the eco is going to be about 2/3 the weight of the 110, perhaps closer to half. I had weighed these at one point but can't seem to find my list.

I'll take a stab at what he wants. Of course I'm having to assume some things. A standard brass frame 110 finger groove, from 1992 (so with
macassar ebony wood) 425 steel. Weighs on a certified Mettler Toledo digital scale in pounds (not ounces) .438 = 7 ozs.. My paperstone 110 with nickel finger groove frame and s30v steel (bareheaded). Weighs .370 = 5.92 ozs.. So, the two are very close to one ounce apart. Thank you for serving. DM

The 2013 Buck catalog lists the 110 Ecolite Paperstone at 4.1 ounces.

I hope we see a return of the Ecolite in paperstone, but with a regular 110 shaped handle.

I don't have one a them new-fangled paperweights, but this old guy weighs in at exactly six ounces on my postal scale.

I wonder if anyone has done strength tests on the new lightweight knives? I wouldn't trust them.

Now this old boy made a fighting weight of 7 and 3/4 ounces.......I guess some would want him to go on a diet, but I think he's perfect.

For me, the 112 is the original lightweight.

Here's an interesting thing. This finger-groove model 112 weighs in at an eighth of an ounce HEAVIER than the NON-finger-groove model.

I thought he would be lighter. Odd. It's prettier, though, even if heavier.

Thank you all for the replies. The reason I asked is because of my recent addition of a Alum. Frame, paper stone slab 110 from Copper and Clad, a numbered exclusive. I wondered at the weight difference while contemplating future purchases.

Drop point 110 brass weighs 211 grams.

Custom shop 110 clip point with NS frame and finger grooves weighs 216.5 grams.

Two dot 110 weighs 220 grams.

Here are a few more with weight in ounces. Multiply ounce weight by 28.35 to get gram weight.View attachment 762548

So, divided sporting's gram numbers by the same 28.35 to arrive at ounces. Man, I like that photo. DM
