Congrats to Varg Lobos!!

In post #23, Varg Lobos selected random #847 and the number that Random.org gave me was #874. To beat that someone woulda have to have been between 847 and 901 and although a few people got really close, Varg Lobos won. I'm glad most everyone took this opportunity to show appreciation to the mods; let's not forget everything the main three fellas Moose, Bladite, and Guyon do for us as well as when Ethan Becker and Toooj pop in once in a while too.

So, I was gonna do a complicated contest but any time I complicate things, they don't get done. So here it is, simple as simple gets.

* The prize is a mint First Production Run BK16.
* Beckerheads only, now or if you become one before the closing time, you're good. If you spam a bunch of crappy posts to get your BH number I'll still send you the knife, but it'll have a bad smell that will be nearly impossible to wash off.
* Two weeks from today, April 9th at midnight MST, giveway closes.
* Pick a number between 1 and 1000, post it here, post your Beckerhead number, post a nice comment about one or all of our sainted mods and be specific. I'll use a random number generator to pick the weiner (whoever's closest to the number picked wins).

That's it. Enjoyed myself a lot here and wanted to give something back.

All of them are frikkin rad. I feel like Bladite and Moose ushered me in, they are so welcoming to us newbies and careful not to scare us off. Even Bladite who layers his snark with nudges in the right direction and helpful info. Guyon is a culinary inspiration and when he does chime in it is always something concise and fair, and he was nice enough to only be sarcastic rather than mean to me for accidentally forgetting about him in a different thread. It's always nice to have Tooj chime in despite how ridiculously busy he probably is and Ethan...I think every Beckerhead is a walking testament to how great of a man he is (over 200 of us and counting...)

And in all honesty, the mods (Mostly Moose, but there have been others) around here have really helped me out. I joined this forum and knew that I liked being outdoors, and that I liked knives, and the community around here.

I mean, without moose, I wouldn't have had someone taunting me saying essentially "even if you can't get a fire started with your firesteel, I have two daughters who will do it for you"... Its great motivation, but I think there is likely no contest between their bushcrafting skill and mine . THey're way ahead of me .

Since then, I've not gotten as much time away in the woods as I would like, but I've learned a bunch and have had a great time doing it. I don't think this place would be like it is without them, and I really do appreciate it.

Guyon is like the Santa Claus of biscuits, if you're good you get a nice, flaky, soft, warm biscuit. If you're bad, you get a burnt hockey puck covered in shit.
Moose can setup a hammock like no other, and in the event he has an off night, he'll sleep right through it.
Bladite is like Encyclopedia Brittanica, full of knowledge, out of print and has that musty ol' library smell.
