I'm so used to deleting stupid/scam type emails, I deleted this one before I read it very careful. :(

I do however remember it said it was from something like make a wish foundation and said it was from a girl who had cancer and something about brain damage.......can't remember exact details as I said I normally delete most others without reading, just caught a glimpse of this much on this one.

One other part I remember was if I would forward this on, that this person would get 7 cents donated from this make a wish type company for every time email was forwarded.

Wish I had saved it now for you to see but it made me mad because I thought it was another scam.

I mentioned this to my wife and she said obviously it was not real because there are plenty of places that would gladly help in situations like this.....

Has anyone seen or heard of this ?

The reason I mention it now is because I started feeling guilty about it just in case it really was a person in need of medical help. :o

Anytime you get an email like this, check it on Snopes.com. 99.99999% of them are fake. Same with "help us find this abducted kid..." etc. Snopes is the real deal!

Chiro75, snopes is good, thanks for that info.

Thomason thanks ! I actually got mad at myself because I deleted it without absorbing what it said.

That is the letter I got. The one named Amy and seven years old.

Who would do something this terrible and the big question is why ? What would forwarding a letter do for the senders ?

Or is it just a sick joke ? I do remember a link that said something about make a wish dot something, but of course I did not click on it.

It's really getting bad out there............:(

Unfortunately it is just a sick joke. It would be nice to be able to help people via email but how would you ever know who was and who was not really sick?
