Had a funny experience a few days ago as I continue to sort and arrange some of my knives after the flood and recent move.
Any who,,,I uncovered a minty nickle 110 FG in a burgundy sheath and was cleaning a tiny bit of green off of it and then tried to open it.
There was no way that blade was going to open. I'm really puzzled as to why.
Wife walked in and suggested I push the button on the handle.
Grrrr, I guess while holding it and tugging on the blade I never noticed it was a switchblade. Did I ever feel silly..

It is a well done single action with an Idaho blade. Way before Buck started making them.

Anyone else have any weird fun with knives?

Moving will make you think things like that are fun ? Not ever going to move. Besides I've got new toilets in all the Bathrooms.
A 112 thread made me wonder what David Martin was talking about on 112 sheaths having a cut-out in front of pouch to give you a era date. And I moved some papers piled in corner and a empty one, as described, had crawled in behind the pile...Wonder where the knife went. 300

Nah, moving was no fun. Just a necessity. House took about 10 ft of water. Wasnt going to live there anymore.

And I just opened another box of knife stuff and a 110 sheath just like the one David posted was in it. No clue why there wasnt a knife. But now will be fun looking through this box of 40 or so old 110's to match a knife back to that sheath.
And find some black shoe polish...
As if I don't have anything else to do...
