Weird, Handmade? Knife anyone know more?

Hey I got this knife at an estate sale years back and know nothing about it. it has no markings or indicators as to where its from, and I think its handmade. The person I got it from had many travels to Africa and the Middle East. To me it appears to be a Middle Eastern style. I would love to know more if anyone knows.

Looks like a tourist knife. Someone brought that back as a souvenir from a vacation a long time ago.

I believe this would be a tourist knife from the Philippines, but you should've asked this question in the bernaBe Levine's collectors and identification forum here, you'll get definitive answers there.

Yeah, I figured it was a tourist/decorative knife based on how its made and how little practical use it serves. I'm mainly looking for a location and estimated date of production. Thanks for yalls input I'll post it over in the other forum.
