I have a strange looking knife or file I’m not sure what it is it has a wooden handle with a ferrule with a even width blade all the way down until the tip then it a bit of a backwards angle kind of like a straight razor, but what’s really different is that the blade is serrated one direction at about a 45 degree angle then it reverses at the same angle and each angled serration is 1” long and the blade is 8 1/2” long and it has no makers marks or anything on it but I can tell that it was not homemade

EDIT: I posted before I had my coffee this morning, and I came off a bit rude. Apologies OP.

Wooden handle with ferule always sounds industrial purpose built, cheap almost disposable tools.

Irwin, Hyde, Dexter Russel come to mind. They all make pretty specific trade knives that have the generic wood handle
