Weird old Camillus

I picked up this Camillus folder from a friend a while back.Its a nice knife.Great fit and nice snappy blade.Its just kind of different.I was wondering if anyone knew the model name or original purpose of the thing.4 3/8" closed.Dont think ive ran across one before.

Thanks guys,Those domed pins really make it stout.The blade is thick and heavy too.
 
Here's a did you know.......

Here is photo of the first Buck folding knife, Mr. Buck took WW2 lifeboat knives that were single bladed and looked a lot like your Cami. I would call yours a Lifeboat Knife for sure. He then forged a new blade (likely out of an old file) and put it in the life-boat body. I only have a photo I am too cheap to own one. Lifeboat models are stout knives for certain..........300Bucks PS - Be careful the Bucks are being faked......
