Weird slippy dream.

I usually don't have vivid dreams at night, and I'm a sound sleeper. But last night I had a lulu.

I had this weird dream, I was someplace in some peril, and I was franticly sawing my way through a thick piece of hawse, like mooring line. No scout knife in sight, nor my old beloved Buck stockman, no yellow CV soddie either. Now this part is very vivid in my waking memory, I had a stag mini copperhead in my hand. I don't know why. I've never had this pattern, and I have looked in passing at them thinking it a nice looking knife, but I never felt pushed to buy one.

Till now.

I wonder if it's somebody "up there" trying to tell me something?

Does this mean I abandon my peanuts for a stag mini copperhead?

Or has Elliott and Gus planted the subliminal message device in the software and he's really on the payroll for Case? Think of the implications! If they can get jackknife to buy a strange pattern, the rest of you are all doomed.

I've never had a dream about a knife before. Salma Hayak yes, but never a knife or inanimate object.

So, how many of you have a mini copperhead with the warnie blade? And is it a good edc?

I can't believe I just asked that.

Carl.

Strange dream jackknife. I have a Case and a Schatt & Morgan. Both from good friends of mine onboard here. They are fantastic edc knives. The perfect size for me and very functional.

It is a dream knife for me as well.

After seeing it the first time, I knew I had to have it or it would become a nightmare.

The thing I find funny is, as much as I love the Wharnie with it's beautiful lines and swedges, I use the pen blade much more often.
Fantastic little knife!!!

Gus and Elliott are definitely behind this. This is bigger than just slippie dreams. They are plotting against Thomason's peanut pattern market penetration campaign. I sense a huge division and bipartisanship in regards to pattern preferences in the near future in the Traditional forum........:D

Or maybe one of Gus's goats got out and is in trouble, and you feel hopeless because you can not be the "Goat catcher in the rye." .

I interpret that dream differently. You were FRANTICALLY sawing at the rope with the copperhead. If you had carried your totem, or your spirit knife if you will, a peanut or sodbuster, in your dream, you would have likely sliced through the rope effortlessly. You clearly have some deep-rooted aversion toward copperheads it seems. Now, we must get to the root of this.

Tell me about your mother...

Hmmm ..... this is serious indeed! I say let it pass for now - it may have been effected by something you ate for supper, or a bad batch of whiskey, or something in the air over Maryland last night. ;)

... I've never had a dream about a knife before. Salma Hayak yes, but never a knife...

Great. Now I'm going to have a dream tonight about Salma Hayek holding a knife!!
Not that there would be anything WRONG with that dream!!
LOL.

I saw week back a weird dream that I only remember violetish looking woodgrained handles and Queen Cutlery or similar on etchen on main clip blade. It looked like copperhead or similar looking pattern...

The mini-copperhead is probably my favorite "drop-in-your-pocket-and-forget-it's-there" knife. I usually carry it along with a larger companion in case of a zombie attack or monster pizza fest -

It looks a like it would be really comfortable. Is it a very robust pattern?

Salma Hayek with a knife?

In the interest of decorum, I'll omit all the comments that came to mind involving stabbing, wood, bone, RC hardness, etc. and just show a pic.

I'd say put your stockman under your pillow, have a belt of whiskey, think of Salma Hayek and have some good dreams.

At the risk of insulting your loyalty to Case......

The Queen Dan Burke 1/2 whittler looks te very same pattern just with a different name.
It is a delightful knife with a very high quality F&F
It is in Sandvik at 3 1/8", and the Winterbotom bone is exceptional

If you are interested, I can PM you the supplier

Neeman, you just had to show that didn't you.
I've been looking at them and trying to avoid them for a while now. You're making it tough.

I think a copperhead looks a little different. IIRC the one in the very back is called a copperhead. It has a node on the bolster, a little hard to see but there.

It is a full size copperhead. I think it is a 6249.
