Weird spyderco

I think Mantis made something kinda like that. They have the coin knife, as well as some other knives with rings.

Chisel grind neck-knife by the man who designed the Spydercard, patent filed after his death. Lycosa ought to be all over that.

Actually we tried to make the knife with several different makers and all were not able, or willing.

We've recently thought about it with our Taichung maker. Any interest? The blades are set into a necklace connected by caps.

I think it's a very cool knife. I would love to buy one just as long as its under $125 msrp also
imo it would be more of a collectors item but still it could still be used as a edc.
Thanks all the best.
Oh and I think Instead of Chisel girinding bolth ends for a righty why not do one grind for a lefty and one for righty making it Completely Ambidextrous

I'll stick with my Shabarias. Weird enough blade on that one, from the same knifemaker. :)

I'd love to see this made in Taichung, actually. I'm a big fan of chiel grinds, and I'm a Spyderhead so this would just about be perfect for me.

No interest here. I prefer a more traditional knife design. I would rather see the makers in Taichung put together a small neck knife, fixed blade of course.

I'd have to see an actual rendition of it to say for sure.
It's certainly different.:)

It's cool, but I'd rather put my money into something I'd carry......maybe one day hen I'm rich.

It's interesting, but strikes me as very outside Spyderco's usual market positioning. More of a "tacticool" novelty, which just doesn't seem like the Spyderco way to me.

Hi FortyTwoBlades,

After Eduard was killed by Hamas in the West Bank, we sent royalties to his wife "Fina" (and still do on sprints). She had two young children. Eduard had designed the necklace knife for his wife's protection. We had planned to make the knife in memory of Eduard, and to assist Fina. Now her sons are grown. One is an engineer like his father and the younger son leads an Israeli band.

As if I needed another reason to like Spyderco and it's people. :D

Yes, I would buy this knife just like my original and sprint run Shabarias as well as my Spydercards. I was compelled after reading about Eduard Bradichansky.

I would be interested in this as well (and certainly as a memorial piece).

Is there a typo in the patent or is "Aduard" an alternate spelling for "Eduard"? I've never seen it spelled that way by Spyderco (literature, forums, etc.).

I'd want it if it will have the engravings as seen in Fig. 8 of the patent.
I love "functional jewelry", and the story behind it adds a nice touch.
