Weird stuff on some folks posts

Occasionally, I get a few threads where I will be reading and come across a post where it shows nothing. Including no (Quote) feature. Almost like a software glitch. Can someone please confirm this for me?

Sting7777's post at the bottom of the thread is TOTALLY blank and doesn't even show any of the normal Quote or quick reply features at the bottom of his blank post.

I have jumped on my computer as well as my wife's and used Opera and Internet explorer and just want to see if its something on my end or if it is indeed a glitch. My webhosting is currently down, but I have a screenshot I will post whenever possible if others do not see the same thing in the post linked above Thanks
 
The Sting777 post looks ok to me. I'm using Firefox. (Which is, IMHO, a vastly superior browser to IE).

Further investigation reveals that ALL of sting7777's post appear this way to me. He is not on my ignore list or anything.

Does he have a sig with some type image file or something? Still trying to figure this one out. I have no firewall running right now. My internet security is at default level. :confused:
 
He has some colored text in his sig, but I don't see why that would screw you up....

In my next post I'll post his sig. Let's see if you can read it when I post it ...

Thanks for helping my narrow down the cause. Now I have to figure out why it doesn't want to display multicolored text
 
Click on the quote button for my post and you'll see the code. It's only colored text and fonts, but you'll be able to see what colors and what fonts; maybe that'll help.
 
Your post doesn't have the quote button or the Quick reply feature at the bottom. I will check my BFC settings, maybe there is an option I have turned off
 
No, that won't work -- you can't see the quote button. I'll email it to you. I think we can presume your email program won't have whatever weird problem your browser has....
