One of two, the other was part of the very famous Joe Drouin collection and Charlie thinks is now in the Smithsonian. 7" high polished blade, 1/4" stock. An awesome fighting knife with a very unique history.

Thanks for showing the pic. When I called Charlie and started to describe this knife, he remembered it within about 2 seconds. He asked if I bought it from a fellow on the East Coast or in the Seattle area. I said "East Coast" and he proceeded to name the person and relay the whole history of the knife. The first was made for a Special Forces friend who Charlie served with. Years later, another ex-Special Forces guy who always admired that first knife, asked Charlie to make one for him. This knife. When a maker like Weiss can instantly remember a knife he made more than 25 years ago, I guess it's a pretty special knife.
