While cruising the Bay the other week I came upon a listing for a Buck 110 with a spider web design that caught my fancy.
I hadn't owned a 110 since my father gave me one when I entered the Boy Scouts many moons ago. Well, the knife arrived today and I am more than happy with it. I forgot how well built these things are and this one is definitely going into my EDC rotation.
The only thing I regret now is not getting back into the Buck folders years ago.

A warm welcome, Magpie! You will find that 110's are very addictive indeed.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and yes, I think my bank account may be in danger, again!
Could someone tell me when this Buck was made? I looked it up on the Buck web page and the "V" stamping shows it was made in 1989 but the knife I have also has a vertical line that disects the V as shown below. Does anyone know what this line designates?

2007 model year.

Congrats on the purchase, and be careful... Its a slippery slope ;) (and addictive)

Is that a Spyderco collaboration - or a 'Spiderman' commemorative?

Neat knife - and welcome to the addiction!

i bought my first 110 a few months ago. i love this darn thing! ive always been the thumb stud / blade hole, pocket clip type of knife feller but this 110 has opened my eyes to a classic type of knife that ive been missing out on. the 110 i bought is an old one made in 1990 and was in pretty good condition. i gave it a good sanding and polishing and ordered a new holster for it. the blade was in excellent condition and appeared to have been sharpened very little. i actually bought it with the intent of fixing it and re-selling it to make a profit but after i got done with it i just couldnt let it go!,,,VWB.

Not to burst any bubbles, and these are fine looking knives, and I have a few myself.

But beware that Buck will not warranty any of these. So make sure your seller will warranty them if you plan on edc.

I know that Michael Prather warranties his. Maybe some of the others do also.
