hello, everybody,

this is my second post on the forum and my first on a forum situated across the big pond.
I'm from croatia, a country situated in the last untamed part of the old continent - the balkans;)
in a sandwich between the western europe and the otoman empire, we have never developed a specific 'knife culture' - instead, we have had a more of a pragmatic approach:emot-yarr:
thus, I won't show you nothing you haven't seen before, except that these I've built myself and not someone else.
if you have questions or comments, don't hesitate to speak, I'll be glad to answer in a simple, laconic fashion in which words above were written:D

cheers,
mile

I use manufactured or forged blades for my knives, preferring hidden tang construction and natural materials (laurin mettali blades with bog oak and brass fittings):

anssi 125 blade with amboina burl:

blade forged by karlo ban with olive wood handle:

laurin metalli blade with stacked leather handle:

and many more..

Wow, those are some beautiful handles. Very clean lines overall, but just outstanding handles.

thanks, mate - it's a classic case of scandi influenza;)
I like mixing styles, though..

modded kankaanpaa leuku blade:

Absolutely gorgeous knives... true artwork.

By the way, thank you for several of my handguns too (Springfield XDs)! :)

thank you for your kind words, guys :)

well, Reasoned1, can't take credit for the guns ;)
Lucas, stacked leather handles are my favorite for barrel shaped puukkos, though it is more work, concerning preparation and shaping.

I bought fallkniven S1, disassembled it and took a shot at the blade (didn't like the full tang blank):
