Welcome to our Forum!!! Please read...

During the latter part of the Vietnam War, WWII veteran Peter LaGana, accessed the depths of his native American heritage and re-created a combat tool which had not seen practical use in over 100 years…..the Fighting Tomahawk.

Mr. LaGana made his American Tomahawk Company famous by manufacturing thousands of these fighting tomahawks for the benefit of our country’s servicemen placing their lives on the line in combat. After five official visits to the Pentagon, countless letters of thanks from customers whose lives were saved, and the war ending, Peter LaGana and the American Tomahawk Company quietly faded into the night, with a job very well done.

While copies and reproductions of the famous Vietnam Tomahawk have been made over the past 30 years by numerous companies, not one has ever been made with Mr. LaGana’s personal approval.

After three decades, it is with great pride that we, the new American Tomahawk Company, in honor of Peter LaGana and his legacy, reopen the doors with his express approval, offering new models, blistering fast customer service, and a commitment to making the most desirable Tomahawks in the world.

Our debut offering to the public will be marked by two of a four Tomahawk series, honoring the United States Army Rangers and Major Robert Rogers…..the Rogers Rangers Tomahawk.

Reproduced from historical documents provided by the Ranger Training Brigade (RTB), the Rogers Rangers Tomahawks are authentic in every detail…hand forged and hand finished. The four commissioned Tomahawks for the RTB will grace the Ranger museum at Fort Benning, side by side with Jim Dietz’s commissioned oil painting "The Colonial Ranger". The American Tomahawk Company will also be co-sponsoring the US Army Ranger, Best Ranger Contest, in April 2001.

Our offerings will not stop there and we will keep our word….expect more extremely desirable tomahawks with the most exciting designs in the industry to come your way so fast, you’ll think they were THROWN at you!!!

Bobby Branton and I will gratefully be your hosts here. Please feel free to ask questions, log inquiries, or just share your enthusiasm about Tomahawks!!!

To answer a big question in advance, YES, we will be making a new version of the famous Vietnam Tomahawk...from better materials, sporting better finish quality and egde geometry, and fashioned entirely in the USA!!!

Let the discussions begin!!!

We will be posting pics of Hawks, prototypes, and drawings VERY soon.

Our first offering will be two Hawks from the Rogers Rangers series.....a Spike Tomahawk and a Light Infantry Belt Axe!!! Hand forged, hand finished...French and Indian War period. Both throw fantastic and perform as extremely well as combat and camp tools.

Pricing will be on the order of $150.00 per Hawk. Each Hawk in the Rogers Rangers Series will be fire branded with the Ranger Tab on one side of the handle and Rogers Rangers in script on the other.

The Hawk will also be accompanied by a parchment certificate, describing the history of Maj. Robert Rogers and Rogers Rangers, as well as the history of the design and joint project.

We are planning for optional custom leather and concealex/cordura sheaths for each Hawk as well.

Expect pics and updates regularly!!!

I DO NOT CHOOSE TO BE A COMMON MAN

"It is my right to be uncommon...if I can; I seek opportunity...not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stole calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud, and unafraid; to think and act for myself; enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and say,
This I have done, and this is what it means to be an American."

Outstanding Andy, I can't wait to see what the allowance from my paycheck my wife gives me will buy in historical, functional and tactical hawks!

"Good things come to those who wait" so I will be waiting patiently!

Hurry up though!

Andy,

As you know I have been on the road the past couple of days. I did get a chance to visit our good friend and premire sheath maker Kenny Rowe. He mention that he ahd just shipped you a bunch of custom leather.

Congrats on the new venture and of course you know I will support you any way I possibly can. Let the Hawks begin to fly!
