I'm going to take the time to welcome Kit Carson and Alan Folts to the moderator team here in the Shop Talk Forum!
With the new software upgrade, we now have the capability for multiple moderators, and as such, we felt it would greatly benefit the membership to have a larger knowledge base to draw upon by having a wide range of experience in the moderator positions here in Shop Talk. This will give us some redundancy as well, should there be a local show one of the makers wishes to attend, or other down time event.
Darrel Ralph and Kit Carson both have made names for themselves as knowledgable craftsmen whos designs, attention to detail, and quality represent some of the best knifemaking has to offer. Alan Folts is an up and coming maker who is still learning his capabilities and showing great promise.
We strongly feel that the team here will be greater than the sum of it's parts and hope that in the end, those of you who have questions are well served by the level of knowledge and experience. Each maker has their own style and ideas and while some of them may conflict, they should be able to provide valuable perspective and insight from each of their positions.
Thanks for your support, and once again, Welcome Kit and Alan!
