Welcome to the world of the "Tuaregs Kami" --

interesting - it's how weapons have been made for a few thousand years....

for those who, like me, do not speak french & have no desire to learn, try using Babelfish (<-linky) to translate the page. the results are quaint. i particularly like the rendition of toilet abrasive into emery paper. :D

Gents and Ladies,

I must confess that I did not know that this was a universal method of sword, knife, and tool construction. I am truly impressed. It's also great to know that if "the wheels fall off," that methods like these in Africa and Asia WILL carry on. It means the fall, if any, backwards from high technology, won't be so severe that we, or our descendants will be without that which is necessary to survive...

Thanks, Coupchoux, for enlightening, and delighting, my afternoon...

Take care, stay safe, and have fun...

Carter

i'd like to know where i could buy one of those lance points, and/or one of them other sharp pointy things.

(without having to go to africa of course)
