I live in south east Georgia, about a mile from the Florida line, elevation 20 feet above sea level. It is July 21, and it is a bright and sunny 95F with a heat index of 105F. The humidity is a wonderful 90% which makes it feel even better outside
My dad is an AC contractor, so I took some more accurate readings with his equipment today. Ambient air temperature was 102F in the shade, the sand in the shade was 90.1F, the sand in the sun was 118.7F and the back door to my house was 136.9F. (measurements taken with laser thermometer )
