Who would I talk to to have a blade fixed? I have a beautiful Dwight Devine scout with a broken blade. I bought it with the blade snapped off 1/3 of the way down. How much would something like that cost?

You can't "fix" a broken blade properly.
Contact the maker, and see what he will charge for a new blade.

This knife have a broken blade as you can se. It was (and still is) a very nice and functional knife for me - so when the blade broke - I talk to a old blacksmith and ask him to fix it for me – and he did – and he did a perfect job with it.

The blade is 5 mm thick on this knife so there was some material to work with. He tempered it differently on the neck and on the edge and use both oil and water to do this.

The blade is a old type of tool blacksmiths use when they change shoes on horses. I made a tip and a tang on the blade and make a handle for it and I have use this knife a lot during the years – and I still carry it nearly every day during walks in the forests around my house.

Another option would be to have the remaining 2/3 of the blade re-ground into a more pleasing or usefull shape.

The blade is about 2 inches long and the end is like a razor. Still quite useful so it ends up in my pocket occasionally.

ya then regrinding the tip wouldnt be hard, go from the spine and grind on a bench grinder slowly and keep it cool, touch up with some sand paper after and your good to go. if you ok with it only being 2 inches then it should be fine

to truly "fix" a broken blade you have to be elven (yes i said it)
