from the 1800's ... cant help but wander what a complete family tree shows
seems there were a lot of Bucks involved in steel and metal working
the name Buck does show up in England around the Sheffield area
as metal workers and knife smiths and makers in the late 1700's and 1800's

btw -
leaving florida this week now and back to the cold mountains
wife talked with her hospice nurse and has decided that she wants
to go back to west virginia this Wednesday ..
so might be out of touch for a bit..
 
It would be interesting to hear from the Buck family historian.

He made it back ok...I would not have slept too easy with a SUV loaded with 200 or so killer 110's sitting in the parking lot of the motel!
