I just picked up this large Seb in a trade (Thanks Sonnydaze!) and I must say that I really love the look of the Ti when it's well aged. I was so careful with my first Seb and now I really feel good about just letting it be and not worrying so much about the marks. The worn look is something you just can't recreate on purpose...

I love knives that have battle scars on them. :)

It just gives them so much more character then when they sit in your display case forever.
I think there's a certain point where, it accumulates enough scratches and dings that you stop worrying about it and embrace it.

totally dig the battle-tested bead-blasted Ti look. Definitely adds, not subtracts, from the overall vibe.

Congrats! I love the worn in look on a plain jane Sebenza, very cool:thumbup:

It does look great! And if you ever want to get a new one, just send that one in for the spa treatment:)

Exactly! But I don't know why anyone ever would. The scarred look is just way cooler on this knife than the pristine look. Now on some of the fancier inlaid CRK knives I'd probably want to keep them pristine (like my Mnandi's that are carried in leather sheath/pouches) but for a plain jane finish I don't think you can beat this look. And this is coming from the guy who has tried *almost* every permutation of finish and color on other sebenzas...
