Great collection..

but that's a lot of knives. Even if you used all your Emersons equally throughout the course of a year (and only your Emersons), you would only be using each one about two weeks of that whole year.

My suggestion would be to liquidate a few of them and purchase a custom Emerson. I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with Emerson's production knives but in my view his handmade custom knives have a much higher level of quality.

I usually don't suggest this but I am in this case since you have so many knives.

Nice Collection Ttran778!

I personaly prefer variety versus having a few customs. Hell, who would want to have the same 4 dishes throught out the entire year for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Variety is the spice of life. If you want plenty of Emerson's, go for it. I have 50 Emersons and have no desire for another Emerson Custom. It might be nicer but I really like the production models more. If there was a production version of the CQC45, I'd rather have 2 or 3 of those over 1 custom for the $$$. Personal preference.

Cool pic! Lots of options--is there one you reach for most often? Is that the same you use most regularly?

I thought this was going to be a thread about a new model called the "Army".

IMO better than any safe queen.

This is why I admire your collection.

Do I see a waveless commander in there?
Alas no, it's a vintage 2000 with the center body screws, slick G10 scales, and dual titanium liners.

I see a BM53
Good eye. It's needs to get sent in though; damaged tip and bent clip.

I also see a Spyderco pikal, ZT 0700, what looks like either a Spyderco native, maybe an older delica or an atlantic salt.

Dude. Can I come over to your house :)

Just kidding that is an amazing collection. That is actually a collection to aspire to. The most Expensive knives I have are Busse's but I am on a constant Emerson hunt at the min. Great collection thanks for sharing.

Good to see I'm not the only one with a problem...:)
Emerson customs are great but it's great to see a row of black g10 emerson folders.

That is amazing!!! I could hold a few for you... You know if your drawer is too full and you need more room. Just saying...

Hahahaha good eye. That's a Native 5 and lil' Matriarch.

Psh, I still live in the barracks.

If I count correctly, then I would be like #5 in terms of pure numbers when it comes to Emersons. Ray definitely takes the #1 spot.

I'll let you know ;) Probably won't be anytime soon though
